Label concept and design for cocktail drinks on a wedding menu.

The couple needed labels designed for two drinks they had chosen to be served at their welcoming party leading up to their wedding. Amy and Gus had met during a summer in a small town on a lake. They had asked for this to be represented in at least one of the designs and gave me full freedom for the other.

Once provided with the main theme I sketched and provided a few fun visuals, color palettes, and type ideas. We decided a nice gradient sunset, relaxing on a speedboat was exactly what we were looking for when enjoying a cold gin and tonic.

Knowing the second drink would be a margarita, I designed a few elements that I felt would be fun and bring some life to the party. Both born in the 90s with a love for music and dance, it felt appropriate to incorporate a disco theme. I chose colors that pop, and that are often times the color of margarita drinks.

The mix of classic and bold were a great fit. Happy to say everyone enjoyed the outcome.
